This is the 250th Birthday for the United States Navy. October 13th, 1775 the Continental Congress passed a resolution to establish the Navy. While the Navy does not have an official moto it’s unofficial motos include “Non Sibi Sed Patriae” (Not Self, But Country) and “Semper Fortis” (Always Courageous).

This the fourth and final Honor Flight event for 2025. The event will be in terminal C at the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky International Airport. The Emerald Society Pipe & Drum Corps and the Honor Guard will be welcoming home our veterans from their trip to Washington, D.C.
The United States Marine Corps was founded as the Continental Marines on November 10th, 1775 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Marines will be celebrating their 250th Birthday in 2025 The Marine Corps Moto is “SEMPER FIDELIS” (Always Faithful)
